WOD – Saturday 26th June 2010.

As a mark of respect for those British Servicemen and women who made the ultimate sacrifice. This UK armed forces day we did 498 reps – each one representing a life that had been lost during the Iraq and Afghan missions. I have one sentiment for soldiers living and dead; cheers for the living, tears for the dead.

10 deadlifts 150lbs – avg. weight carried by soldiers

70 sit ups 10lbs – weight of rifle

50 back squats 70lbs – weight of burgen

20 pull ups

25 snatch 65lbs – weight of body armour and webbing

25 clean and jerk 65lbs

40 push ups

100 squats

30 cal. row

50 double unders

25 wall ball

20 box jumps

28 burpees

5 tyre flips.

Well done to those who showed up and didn't quit, and thanks to all servicemen and women past and present. You are truly appreciated.
