End of nutrition challenge & results.
Firstly well done to all those who participated in the 6 week nutrition challenge. You should all be very proud of your achievements. Everybody looks better, feels better and has become stronger.
Some of the feedback included…. "never felt better in my life" "committing to workouts and changing my diet resulting in a drastic change in weight" "sticking with the food plan, the energy was there and it made me want to work out" "I'm continuing to stick to the plan even though the challenge is over. It's going to be part of my lifestyle now."
The ladies put on an impressive display making a winner very difficult. Well done to Shannon K and Tanya both tied for second, both girls lost 8lbs of fat and both gained 4lbs of muscle with both girls dropping 5% BF. Thought those figures were impressive? The winner Kelly dropped 10% body fatĀ and 19lbs of fat! She went from being unable to do 1 full push up to completing 200 unassisted pull ups over the course of the day when the club completed 10,000 pull ups for charity.
Well done to Brian the winner of the men's competition. With a BF of 10.7% AMAZING transformation. Brian's strength and fitness have increased dramatically over the last 6 weeks. During the final WOD of the challenge he squat cleaned his body weight of 160lbs. Nice.
Next competition starts on July 12th. Who will be the next winner. Nutrition information will be discussed on Friday 9th, previous participants will be talking about what helped and didn't, what they struggled with and what they found easy.
